Introducing GraceSoft Drawer
Today we’re launching GraceSoft Drawer, a lean, privacy-first home for your text.
If your notes, snippets, prompts and drafts are spread across messages-to-self, notes apps and stray files, Drawer gives them one calm place to live. It’s available now at drawer.gracesoft.dev.
What Drawer does
Drawer does a few things, and tries to do them well:
- Save text in seconds. Open it, paste or type, and you’re done. No templates or setup.
- Keep it private by default. Your texts are yours. Nothing is shared unless you decide it should be.
- Share a single text. Send one piece to someone without exposing the rest of your drawer.
- Email it. Send a text straight to an inbox, including your own.
You control every text
Each text in Drawer has a status, so it’s always clear who and what can see it:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Draft | Still a work in progress |
| Private | Visible only to you |
| Published | Shareable with the people you choose |
| Searchable | Discoverable, for things you’re happy to make public |
| AI Retrievable (paid) | Explicitly allowed to be pulled into your own AI context |
AI access in Drawer is strictly opt-in. Nothing is fed into AI by default, and you choose which texts, if any, are made available.
Built the GraceSoft way
Like every GraceSoft product, Drawer is privacy-first and security-first. It’s built on GraceSoft Footing, our in-house Laravel foundation, so it starts from the same carefully considered base as the rest of our products.
It’s also deliberately small. Drawer isn’t trying to be your entire workspace. It’s trying to be the one place you put text down and trust it’ll be there when you need it.
Try it
Drawer is live now at drawer.gracesoft.dev.
We’re a small, independent studio, and early feedback shapes what we build next. If you try Drawer, we’d love to hear what works, what doesn’t, and what you’d change.
